چکیده

Thirteen yr observation data of 4FGL J0824.9+3915 with the Large Area Telescope on board Fermi Gamma Ray Space (Fermi/LAT) are analyzed for revisiting whether 4C +39.23B, a compact steep-spectrum (CSS) source closed to flat-spectrum radio quasar (FSRQ) +39.23A in $\gamma$-ray emitting region J0824.9+3915, is emitter. We find that time-integrated emission overwhelmingly dominated by +39.23A. It shows significant variability at 6.7$\sigma$ confidence level and average flux 0.1--300 GeV energy band $(1.60\pm 0.15)\times10^{-8}$ ph cm$^{-2}$ s$^{-1}$ power-law photon spectral index $2.48\pm0.05$. During MJD 57500--58500, low state steady flux. Analyzed Fermi/LAT this time interval, it found TS values from +39.23B $\sim5$ $\sim 31$, respectively, indicating interval CSS +39.23B. The derived $(9.40\pm4.10)\times 10^{-9}$ cm $^{-2}$ $\Gamma_{\gamma}=2.45\pm0.17$. Attributing distribution (SED) radiations its core extended region, we show SED can be represented two-zone leptonic model. Its contributed region. magnetic field strength Doppler boosting factor 0.13 G 6.5. Comparing other $\gamma$-emitting CSSs symmetric objects (CSOs) $\Gamma_{\gamma}-L_{\gamma}$ plane, resembles CSSs.

New candidate GHz Peaked Spectrum and Compact Steep Spectrum Sources

Data from a recent Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) program of multi-frequency, multi-epoch monitoring of 202 active galactic nuclei with declinations < +10 • have been searched for GHz Peaked Spectrum (GPS) and Compact Steep Spectrum (CSS) radio sources. Supplementary data at higher and lower frequencies, where available, have been used to further examine the spectral properties of pre...

Astronomy and Astrophysics Superluminal Motion in a Compact Steep Spectrum Radio Source 3c 138

We present the results of 5 GHz VLBI observations of a compact steep spectrum source 3C 138. The data are consistent with the western end being the location of the central activity. The observed offset between different frequencies in the central region of 3C 138 can be accounted for by a frequency dependent shift of the synchrotron self-absorbed core. Our new measurements confirm the existence...

Near-infrared spectroscopy of powerful compact steep-spectrum radio sources

We have obtained near-infrared spectroscopy of a small sample of powerful Compact Steep-Spectrum (CSS) radio sources mainly, but not exclusively, from the 3CR sample. We find no differences between the distributions in the equivalent width and luminosity of the [Oiii]5007 line for our sample and other larger, presumably older, high-redshift 3C objects, suggesting that the underlying quasar lumi...

Synchrotron Spectra and Ages of Compact Steep Spectrum Radio Sources

The high-frequency integrated spectra of Compact Steep Spectrum (CSS) sources show breaks with a moderate spectral steepening well fitted by continuous injection synchrotron spectra. In lobe-dominated CSS sources the radiative ages deduced by the synchrotron theory are in the range of up to 10 years, if equipartition magnetic fields are assumed. These radiative ages are well correlated with the...
